The Sukabumi Regency Government, in collaboration with Nusa Putra University, is providing scholarships to 150 students from the Sukabumi Regency to study higher education at Nusa Putra University. The scholarship was handed over directly by the Regent of Sukabumi, Drs. H. Marwan Hamami to the Chancellor of Nusa Putra University Dr. Kurniawan, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Nusa Putra Cisaat University Auditorium – Sukabumi.
A total of 150 recipients of the 2024 Sukabumi Regent scholarship were the result of selection from thousands of written test participants carried out at several sub-district offices in Sukabumi Regency last February. Apart from that, the 2024 Sukabumi Regent scholarship program handover is the fifth time it has been carried out since the start of this program in 2020.
The Regent’s Scholarship Program is proof of the support of the Sukabumi district government and Nusa Putra University to the world of education for Sukabumi’s young generation to continue to excel and continue their education to a higher level. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of Nusa Putra University, Dr. Kurniawan in his speech.

Furthermore, the Chancellor also expressed his thanks to the ranks of the Sukabumi Regency Government for holding the 5th year of the Regent’s Scholarship program and congratulated the 2024 Regent’s scholarship recipients.
“On this auspicious occasion, on behalf of Nusa Putra University, we would like to express our highest thanks and appreciation to the Sukabumi Regency Government for organizing the 2024 Sukabumi Regent Scholarship, and of course, we also congratulate the recipients of the 2024 Sukabumi Regent scholarship.”
The Regent of Sukabumi, Drs. H. Marwan Hamami, that the Sukabumi Regent scholarship program is present as a serious effort by the government, especially in the field of education, to ensure that future generations have quality education to advance Sukabumi Regency for the better.

Meanwhile, Aryani from MAN 1 Sukabumi, the school that received the most scholarships from the Sukabumi Regent in 2024, expressed his gratitude to Nusa Putra University and the Sukabumi Regency Government for the opportunity given to his students to continue their higher education for free through the Sukabumi Regent scholarship program.

Gita Kurnia Putri, second best in the 2024 Sukabumi Regent scholarship program, along with other participants said they were happy and grateful for being selected as recipients of the scholarship after competing with thousands of other participants in the test several months ago.
