Nusa Putra University Establishes Collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

To increase collaboration between institutions, Nusa Putra University has again collaborated with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). The collaboration text was signed directly by the Chancellor of Nusa Putra, Dr. Kurniawan, and Plh. Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi at the Jakarta Kadin Tower on Tuesday 19 March 2024.

The collaboration between Nusa Putra and KADIN Indonesia includes the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education which includes education, research, and service. This was stated by the Chancellor of Nusa Putra, Dr. Kurniawan on the sidelines of the cooperation signing ceremony.

He further said that the initial realization of this collaboration will be that Nusa Putra and KADIN Indonesia will prepare internship programs abroad, such as in Japan and various other countries for Nusa Putra students.

“Of course, there are many things that we are collaborating on between Nusa Putra and KADIN, including internship programs abroad and also regarding the absorption of Nusa Putra graduates in the industrial world,” explained the Chancellor of Nusa Putra.

The signing ceremony for the collaboration between Nusa Putra and KADIN Indonesia also coincided with the release of students who were sent by KADIN Indonesia for internships in Japan. The event began with a speech from WKU for Vocational and Certification Division of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, namely Adi Mahfudz Wuhadji. In his speech, he conveyed the message that success is everyone’s choice and imitates the disciplined culture of Japanese society.

Meanwhile Plh. Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi, in his speech appreciated and invited Nusa Putra to continue to work together in various positive ways by the competencies of each institution.

“This is our joint effort to improve the quality of human resources, especially the younger generation of Indonesia,” he said.

The signing ceremony for the collaboration was also attended by the Deputy Chancellor III of Nusa Putra for Student Affairs, Cooperation, Career and Alumni Affairs of Nusa Putra as well as the leadership of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
