Nusa Putra University once again showed its appreciation by providing scholarship to talented youth from Sukabumi.
On this occasion, four winners of the Sukabumi District Literacy Ambassador for the 2024-2025 period received scholarship vouchers worth Rp26 million from Nusa Putra University.
Therefore, Nusa Putra University provides these vouchers for financing educational programs at the university.
The awards were presented at the Grand Final of the 2024 Sukabumi District Literacy Ambassador Selection by Gia Yosep Gunawan, Head of the Student Creativity and Activity Unit (SCAU) at Nusa Putra University, at the Frinanda Palabuhanratu Building in Sukabumi on Saturday, February 24, 224.
The four Literacy Ambassadors for 2024-2025 were divided into two categories.
The winners include Alvan Frilian from SMAN 1 Cikakak and Arsha Aurellia from SMAN 1 Palabuhanratu.
And also the Runner Up, including Rivan Ramandhani from SMAN 1 Palabuhanratu and Niswah Kamilah from SMK Doa Bangsa.
Literacy Ambassadors are educational-based activities through socialization and other positive activities such as book distribution, literacy seminars, and others. Literacy ambassador activities are supported by the Sukabumi District Archives and Library Agency.
Gia Yosef Gunawan, Head of SCAU at Nusa Putra, explained that Nusa Putra University highly appreciates the students who participated in this Sukabumi District Literacy Ambassador event. According to Gia, students’ concern for improving educational literacy is crucial.
“We at Nusa Putra University strongly support the Sukabumi District Literacy Ambassadors involving students. Therefore, we believe that they play a significant role in developing literacy, especially in Sukabumi District,” explained Gia.
