“The Sukabumi City Government in collaboration with Nusa Putra University provided scholarships to 66 Sukabumi City students to continue their higher education at Nusa Putra University. The scholarship handover was carried out by Hasan Asari, ASDA 3 Sukabumi City who represented the Acting Mayor of Sukabumi Drs. Kusmana Hartadji, to the Chancellor Nusa Putra University Dr. Kurniawan, on Tuesday, April 23 2024, at the Nusa Putra University Auditorium – Sukabumi.”
The prospective students who won the 2024 Mayor’s Scholarship were the result of selection from hundreds of written test participants which were carried out at several sub-district offices in Sukabumi City last February. Apart from that, the 2024 Sukabumi Mayor’s scholarship program handover is the fourth time this program has been carried out since the start of this program in 2021.
The existence of the Sukabumi Mayor’s scholarship is proof of the concern of the Sukabumi City Government and Nusa Putra University in providing the widest possible opportunities for all residents of Sukabumi City to pursue higher education at Nusa Putra University. This was conveyed directly by the Chancellor of Nusa Putra University, Dr. Kurniawan in his speech.
“We view that the Mayor of Sukabumi’s scholarship program is proof of the Sukabumi City Government’s support for the world of education and is a new hope for the young generation of Sukabumi City to continue to excel and continue their education to a higher level.”
Meanwhile, the Chancellor also expressed his thanks to the ranks of the Sukabumi City Government for holding the 2024 Sukabumi Mayor Scholarship program.
“On this auspicious occasion, on behalf of Nusa Putra University, we would like to express our highest gratitude and appreciation to the Sukabumi City Government for organizing the 2024 Sukabumi Mayor Scholarship.”
Apart from that, Hasan Asari, as ASDA 3 Sukabumi City, who represents PJ Sukabumi City Drs. Kusmana Hartadji is grateful that his party can help the young generation of Sukabumi City continue their education to a higher level and achieve their dreams at Nusa Putra University.
“We are very happy of course, because one of the factors of happiness is being able to guide many prospective students whose education helps them realize their dreams and achievements.”
Furthermore, Hasan Asari also emphasized that the scholarship recipients could take advantage of this opportunity and obtain the best achievements and innovations so that they could bring a good name to themselves, Nusa Putra, and the City of Sukabumi.
“For the participants who pass, you have received a good opportunity as a result of selection from hundreds of other test participants. You must make the best use of it so that you can achieve the best achievements and innovations while you are a student and bring a good personal name to Nusa. Putra and the City of Sukabumi.”
Meanwhile, Muntamah from MAN 1 Sukabumi City, which is the school that received the most scholarships from the Mayor of Sukabumi in 2024, expressed his appreciation for the scholarship program. He also expressed his hope that the scholarship program could continue and improve.
“We appreciate the Sukabumi Mayor’s Scholarship Program, and we feel grateful for our achievement as the school receiving the most scholarships this year, after the previous year we also received a similar award.”
One of the best participants in the 2024 Sukabumi Mayor Scholarship, Revalianti Putri Sabrina admitted that she was happy and grateful that she could be one of the participants with the highest score in the 2024 Sukabumi Mayor Scholarship. Apart from that, she also revealed that the key to her success was committed prayer and effort.
“Yes, I am very happy and grateful to be one of the outstanding participants in the 2024 Mayor of Sukabumi scholarship program. From me, the key is that we have to balance prayer and effort.”
The 2024 Sukabumi Mayor Scholarship handover ceremony was also attended by Sukabumi City government officials, rectorate officials, faculty deans, and heads of study programs, and was attended by 66 scholarship recipients who were accompanied by their respective parents or guardians.
