The re-accreditation of the Management Study Program was conducted by the Independent Accreditation Institution for Business Management and Accounting (LAMEMBA). Based on Ministerial Regulation No. 5 of 2020, every study program must undergo independent accreditation by recognized institutions. LAMEMBA was initiated by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI), the Indonesian Association of Economists, and the Association of Indonesian Faculty of Economics and Business.

This included various annual innovations such as laboratories, improvements in various fields, and international achievements of management study program students, all of which were considered as added value in the re-accreditation process.

“As usual, we have prepared documents, documentation, and evidence to be reported or proven during field visits like this.”

Furthermore, the Management Study Program Secretary also mentioned that increasing the qualifications and number of lecturers, doctoral graduates, and functional positions would be pursued in the following years.

“There were some notes during the field assessment yesterday, and we will certainly evaluate them. Like the qualifications of lecturers that we will pursue in the coming years.”

Meanwhile, Nazza Dewi, as one of the management study program students, believes that re-accreditation is necessary to enhance the quality of the program and compete with other management study programs in Indonesia.

“In my opinion, steps like this re-accreditation are necessary for management study programs to improve quality so they can compete with other management study programs throughout Indonesia.”
