Commemorating The Independence Day, Nusa Putra University held the 77th RI Anniversary Ceremony

Sukabumi- After the corona-virus pandemic, Nusa Putra University’s premier  Commemoration Ceremony for the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia was held at campus on Wednesday (17/08/22).

The ceremony started at 09.00 a.m. and the entire academic community of Nusa Putra University attended it. Dr. H. Kurniawan S.T., M.Sc., MM., the Rector of Nusa Putra University, acted as Inspector of Ceremonies. 

“Recover Faster and Rise Stronger” is the theme for the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. In his address, the Rector said that we had to rise after the corona-virus changed almost all aspects of life.

“We must rise stronger as strong as our nation’s heroes. They shed blood for independence. Therefore, let’s move our feet, swing our arms, move our bodies, think smart, and work hard for a more prosperous, victorious, and peaceful Indonesia.,” he said. 

In the closing statement, the Rector called for “Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!! (freedom) And Bangkit! Bangkit! Bangkit! (rise)” to all participants in the ceremony.
