Nusa Putra University (NPU) once again successfully held an international academic event entitled International Global Conferences in two countries, namely Malaysia and Singapore. This annual Nusa Putra event was held for five days from 5 to 9 November 2023. Undoubtedly, six conferences in the fields of science that correspond to study programs in Nusa Putra were successfully held and attended by hundreds of participants from students, lecturers, and practitioners from various countries.
Chancellor of Nusa Putra Dr. Kurniawan said that the International Global Conference held this time consisted of 3 science and technology conferences held at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and 3 business, social and humanities conferences held at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. According to him, this activity is an opportunity for academics and practitioners to introduce their latest research results.
“This is Nusa Putra’s annual agenda which we always carry out by involving all study programs and inviting the best speakers in their respective fields. Of course, this activity is an opportunity for all of us to introduce our latest research results,” explained the Chancellor of Nusa Putra.
On this occasion, the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java Banten, Dr. Samsuri and at the same time also opened the Global Conference event. In his speech, Dr. Samsuri appreciated Nusa Putra for holding this activity. According to him, this activity is a strategic step to produce quality research.
“International Conferences are a place for collaboration between universities to produce quality research. I appreciate Nusa Putra University which has succeeded in holding this very positive activity. “LLDIKTI IV will always support Nusa Putra to continue to improve the quality of organizing activities like this,” said Dr. Samsuri.

The closing of the International Global Conference itself was held at NTU Singapore on Thursday 9 November. Present to close this activity was Juviano Dos Santos Ribeiro, Information, Social and Cultural Function of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore. In his speech, Juviano Dos Santos Ribeiro expressed his pride in Nusa Putra University. According to him, apart from being internationally accredited, Nusa Putra also has extraordinary international events.
“Nusa Putra is a very extraordinary campus, apart from being internationally accredited, it also has extraordinary international programs like this. “We from KBSI Singapore congratulate Nusa Putra and thank you for choosing Singapore as the venue for this activity,” said Juviano Dos Santos Ribeiro.
In the closing session, the committee also announced several papers and presenters selected as Best Paper and Best Presenter. Apart from that, the committee also announced that the 2024 International Global Conference will be held again in two countries, namely Singapore and Thailand.
