Nusa Putra University Establishes Collaboration with Islamic International University Malaysia

Nusa Putra University (NPU) has collaborated in the fields of education, research, and student affairs with the Islamic International University Malaysia (IIUM). The signing ceremony for the memorandum of cooperation was carried out directly by the Chancellor of Nusa Putra, Dr. Kurniawan, and IIUM Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Amir Akramin bin Shafie at the Kulliyyah Auditorium of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) IIUM on Tuesday last week.

In his speech, IIUM Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Amir Akramin bin Shafie explained that collaboration with Nusa Putra University is strategic for IIUM to increase international networks between research collaboration and staff and student exchanges. According to him, Nusa Putra, which already has excellent international experience, can become a partner for developing international programs on its campus.

“We are very happy with this collaboration, even though we have done a lot of joint research and activities such as international conferences, we are only now able to sign the collaboration because distance and time are not possible. “We are happy and able to collaborate with Nusa Putra for the progress of the campus together,” explained Prof. Dr. Amir Akramin bin Shafie in his speech.

The Chancellor of Nusa Putra, Dr. Kurniawan stated that his party welcomed this collaboration. According to him, Nusa Putra and IIUM have collaborated in the form of joint research and other activities. Therefore, according to him, the collaboration ratified today will open up opportunities for each study program to follow up according to their respective fields of science.

“We certainly welcome this collaboration at the university level with IIUM, then the study programs will follow up on it according to their respective knowledge. “Hopefully this collaboration will be a blessing and have a positive impact on both parties,” said Dr. Kurniawan.

The signing of the cooperation note also coincided with the opening of the International Global Conferences organized by Nusa Putra University and IIUM. Also present and witnessing the signing of the memorandum of cooperation was the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java Banten Dr. Samsuri, Dean of KITC IIUM Prof. Dr. Murni Mahmud, Head of School of Computer Science Nusa Putra Prof. Teddy Mantoro and the academic community of both campuses.
