Memorizing 30 Juz, Nusa Putra Student from Mali Passes National Level MTQ Together with 2 Other Students

Three Nusa Putra University students passed the National Student Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQMN) competition and are currently taking part in the event in Brawijaya, Malang, Central Java.

The three students are Keysa Novera Aliana in the Misabaqah Hifdzil Quran 10 Juz category, Wafa Laelatul Mu’roziah in the Musabaqah Khoththil Quran category, and Alhasan Haidara in the Misabaqah Hifdzil Quran 30 Juz category.

Deputy Chancellor III Nusa Putra Muhamad Muslih said that the three students had gone through two months of selection and verification stages until they were declared qualified for the national level.

“Yes, they practice muraja’ah, maintain their voices, and maintain their health to face the national competition,” said Muslih.

Muslih said that one of the three students was an international student from Mali who took part in the competition in the Misabaqah Hifdzil Quran 30 Juz category.

“Of course, this is the achievement of our students, Nusa Putra international students also have extraordinary achievements, especially because they have memorized 30 chapters of the Al-Quran,” added Muslih.

The three students will take part in the MTQMN summit organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which will be held at Brawijaya University, Malang, East Java.(*)
