A total of 248 Bachelor’s (S1) and Master’s (S2) graduates participated in the Open Senate Meeting of Universitas Nusa Putra for the 12th Graduation Ceremony of the 2023/2024 Academic Year, held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Universitas Nusa Putra Auditorium in Cisaat, Sukabumi. The ceremony was presided over by the Rector of Universitas Nusa Putra, Dr. Kurniawan, who served as the Senate Chair, and was attended by the graduates, their parents, and other invited guests.
In his address, Dr. Kurniawan expressed his gratitude for the successful execution of the graduation ceremony. He emphasized that this moment of graduation should be an occasion for gratitude, as the graduates have successfully completed their education.
“On this joyous day, allow us at Universitas Nusa Putra to present 269 Bachelor’s graduates and 15 Master’s graduates in Computer Science who are participating in the 12th graduation ceremony of Universitas Nusa Putra for the 2023/2024 Academic Year,” Dr. Kurniawan stated in his speech.
Dr. Kurniawan further remarked that these graduates are the nation’s best and brightest, having completed their higher education at Universitas Nusa Putra, and are now ready to contribute their knowledge and skills to the nation, the world, and beyond.
Meanwhile, Dr. M. Samsuri, Head of LLDIKTI Region IV, expressed his appreciation for the achievements and performance of Universitas Nusa Putra in his speech. He noted that the innovations and strategic steps taken by Universitas Nusa Putra have established it as one of the leading institutions.
“Graduates should be proud because you have completed your studies at a university known for its remarkable innovations and strategic initiatives. In the context of international students, it has even become the best in Indonesia. It is not impossible for this institution to become one of the top universities,” said the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV.
A similar sentiment was shared by Dr. Armi Susandi, Head of the Research and Development Center of the National Intelligence Agency (Kapuslitbang BIN), who delivered a scientific oration at the ceremony. He highlighted that Universitas Nusa Putra has many advantages, particularly in the areas of internationalization and computer science development.
“Graduates should take pride in their success in studying at a university that excels in both technology and internationalization,” he remarked.
During the 12th Graduation Ceremony of Universitas Nusa Putra, themed “Rising to the Occasion,” Fariz Alfarouq from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program was recognized as the top Bachelor’s graduate with a GPA of 3.99, while Aleyk Fatkhunnajakhi from the Computer Science program was honored as the top Master’s graduate.
The ceremony was conducted with reverence and concluded with a photo session featuring each graduate with the members of the Senate.
